This suspense drama depicts the dark side of the art world, set in Insa-dong, Korea's antique district. Uhm Jung-hwa plays Bae Tae-jin, the owner of the Insa-dong gallery "Pimun." She plays a powerful figure in the art world, but also a cold-hearted character who secretly engages in smuggling and counterfeiting art.
The story begins when Bae Tae-jin acquires the lost masterpiece "Blue Eyes Painting" by the legendary Joseon Dynasty painter Angyeong. She asks Lee Kang-jun (Kim Rae-won), a genius restorer with "divine hands," to restore it. Kang-jun, who was once expelled from the art world, accepts the request despite his large debts. However, behind this request lies a huge conspiracy involving art smuggling and allegations of counterfeiting, and Bae Tae-jin is at the center of it all. She plots to make a huge profit by restoring the "Blue Eyes Painting," and to do so, she draws Kang-jun and the other characters into a complex game of negotiation. Uhm Jung-hwa does a great job in the role of this ambitious villain.
