This realistic comedy drama explores the frank themes of friendship, work, love, and sex for women in their 40s.
Uhm Jung-hwa plays Jung Shin-ae, the head of a cable TV entertainment department. Shin-ae is a successful, single woman, but she's portrayed as a "golden miss" who enjoys romantic relationships with younger men. Together with her two best friends, housewife Jo Mi-young (Moon So-ri) and single mother Lee Hae-young (Jo Min-soo), they freely discuss the unique challenges of women in their 40s, including love and sex.
The film follows these women as they frankly strive to make the most of their current lives, despite their own past struggles and pain. Shin-ae's active love and work life, even in her 40s, is portrayed in a comical way, as she is in a relationship with Hwang Hyun-seung (Lee Jae-yoon), a younger producer at an outsourcing production company. The film's relatable story explores the unchanging aspirations of women as they age, interspersed with sometimes risqué depictions.
