Uhm Jung-hwa plays Yeon-woo, a brilliant lawyer with a 100% win rate. She has no interest in romance or marriage and is about to be transferred to the New York headquarters. However, she is involved in an unexpected traffic accident and finds herself on the brink of death.
Then, a mysterious man, Director Lee (Kim Sang-ho), appears before Yeon-woo. He offers her a chance to return to normal life if she lives someone else's life for a month without anyone discovering her true identity. Yeon-woo wakes up to find herself in a world where her life is like a battlefield, with her ordinary husband, Sung-hwan (Song Seung-heon), and her two children. She panics as she finds herself doing side jobs and engaging in casual housewives' chats, a stark contrast to her previous life.
