This human drama follows a successful career woman and single mother as she faces a variety of conflicts and emotions as she prepares to part with her terminally ill son.
While Dongja, played by Uhm Jung-hwa, is passionate about her work, she struggles with her relationship with her ailing 11-year-old son, Won-hee (Yoo Hae-jin). Won-hee suffers from heart disease, and Dongja works day and night to provide for his treatment. However, her son's condition continues to worsen, and she is informed that she has little time left.
Dongja struggles with how to spend her limited time with her son and whether she has showered him with enough love. Uhm Jung-hwa's delicate yet powerful portrayal of Dongja, who struggles to accept the separation from her son and is torn between her love and responsibilities as a mother. This moving drama conveys the bonds of family and the preciousness of life through her heartfelt connection with her son, Won-hee (Yoo Hae-jin).
