This film is a remake of the Japanese drama "29 Years Old Christmas." Uhm Jung-hwa plays Dong-mi, a career woman and best friend of the protagonist Nan, played by Jang Jin-young.
This ensemble drama depicts the friendships and romances of four men and women approaching 30. Nan, a designer struggling in both her work and love life, finds herself at a crossroads in her life, supported by her best friend Dong-mi and her roommate Jeong-jun.
Dong-mi, played by Uhm Jung-hwa, is a down-to-earth woman with a strong and competitive personality, but also a sensitive side. While encouraging her best friend Nan, she unexpectedly begins a relationship with her roommate Jeong-jun, and her own love life also undergoes changes. Uhm Jung-hwa's comical acting skillfully conveys the fluctuating emotions of a woman, adding vitality to the entire film. This light-hearted portrayal of the realistic struggles of young people dealing with work, romance, and marriage resonated with many audiences.
