In this suspense thriller, Uhm Jung-hwa breaks new ground with her serious acting, overturning her previous coquettish image. She plays Jeong Seung-jung, an ordinary housewife whose husband is a former detective. However, her true identity is that of a serial killer. A sticker of Princess Aurora, the daughter's favorite anime character, is left at the crime scene.
Starting with the murder of a woman in a department store restroom, a series of murders are committed using the same method. Detective Oh (Moon Sung-keun), who is in charge of the investigation, tracks down his ex-wife Seung-jung as a suspect, but is unable to find any connection between her and the victims. However, Seung-jung's behavior gradually becomes bolder, and she begins sending messages to the police that seem to foreshadow her upcoming crimes.
Uhm Jung-hwa brilliantly portrays the complex role of both a ruthless murderer hell-bent on revenge and a mother struggling with deep grief, with her intense facial expressions and delicate emotional expression. This film depicts the darkness of society and the deep despair of humanity, and its shocking ending left a strong impression on many viewers.
