This anthology film explores the theme of eroticism, with five directors each portraying a different form of love.
Uhm Jung-hwa stars in episode 4, "The End and the Beginning." She plays Jeong-ha, who loses her husband (Hwang Jung-min) in a traffic accident and then learns the shocking truth that her husband has been having a secret affair with her junior colleague (Kim Hyo-jin). Jeong-ha is deeply hurt by this situation, but after the accident, her husband's lover, the junior colleague, visits her and promises to devote herself to him. The two women eventually begin living together, and the film depicts how they build a new relationship amid the complex emotional entanglements caused by the husband's death and betrayal.
This work explores themes of love, desire, and loss from multiple angles, sometimes provocatively, and Uhm Jung-hwa delivers a sensitive yet powerful portrayal of the inner world of a wounded woman.
